Injection Molding Parameters

Drying Treatment Normally unnecessary; dry at 70‑80°C for 2‑3 hours under improper storage conditions HIPS has low water absorption (generally below 0.1 %); drying is normally not required. Drying is recommended under high‑humidity environment or improper storage.
Barrel Temperature 190‑240°C Due to rubber component, relatively higher injection and molding temperature are preferred.
Mold Temperature 40‑60°C Higher mold temperature helps reduce internal stress.
Injection Pressure Medium‑to‑high (e.g. 60‑150 MPa) Sufficient holding pressure, holding time and cooling time are required.
